Once upon a time...

(A little about me)

Hi, I’m Becca,

the baker behind the bread

I started making sourdough years ago when I was GF and looking for any bread that didn't taste like cardboard. What started as a resource for my health has become a beautiful outlet & business!

But beyond bread, I have much more to me. First of all, Jesus is my all in all, and the reason for my being (and baking!) Everything I do is based off my faith in Him and all He's done for me.

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I'm truly grateful for you & the support of this community! Enjoy this page-- I hope it feels like we're both sitting down to lattes & fresh bread together to talk about our love of baking.

A Mission Beyond Bread

Heritage

Due to convienence, we started skipping the mom & pop baker on the corner decades ago. Why make an extra stop, when you can toss in your cart at the big-chain grocery store? Well, convienence comes with a price...

Health

And the results speak for themselves. The health of our America is at an all-time low, and we need to do something about it. Bread doesn't need to be pumped full of preservatives! Let's get back to real, FRESH bread that's good for our bodies (and actually tastes better).

Homemaking

Through the pursuit of convienece (and losing our health in the process), we've also lost the wonderful homemaking skills that our great-grandparents used everyday, but we barely use at all! There is such a calming beauty in slowing down, making our own food (or buying local), and living life the way we're designed to.
